MONSTA X Takes the Stage Again
After a three-year hiatus due to military service, MONSTA X made a triumphant return, captivating audiences with their debut performance at their 10th-anniversary concert, “2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X,” held at KSPO Dome in Seoul on October 20. The event, which featured a total of three performances over the course of October 18 to 20, attracted nearly 29,000 enthusiastic fans, proving that the group’s allure remains as strong as ever.

A Powerful Reintroduction
With a spectacular entrance facilitated by lifts that elevated them above the stage, MONSTA X set the tone for the night with an electrifying set, starting with tracks like “BEASTMODE,” “No Limit,” and “Follow.” Member I.M described this concert as a celebration of their decade-long journey and a new beginning for both MONSTA X and their devoted fan base, known as MONBEBE. This performance marked not just a celebration of their legacy but also a signal of reuniting after individual military services, beginning with leader Shownu in 2021.
A Long-Awaited Homecoming
This concert held significant meaning beyond its anniversary. Initially, MONSTA X was set to bring their world tour to the KSPO Dome in 2020, but the pandemic forced cancellation. Their 2023 fan concert was similarly limited due to member Minhyuk’s military obligations. Fans rejoiced as the group finally performed in full and highlighted their evolution since their debut.
A Fresh Musical Approach
Innovatively, MONSTA X took the stage accompanied entirely by a live band for the first time in their concert history, creating a rich auditory experience. They further delighted fans by debuting member Hyungwon‘s self-composed track, “Fire & Ice.” Kihyun also teased plans for a new album, revealing that recording was already well underway, signaling exciting developments in their musical journey.
An Energetic Finale
As the concert reached its climax, the energy surged with encore performances of “SPOTLIGHT,” “ZONE,” and “Downpour,” prompting the audience to jump and cheer in exhilaration. Member JOOHONEY concluded the event with heartfelt remarks, expressing gratitude to the fans and acknowledging the growth they’ve experienced together. With the successful conclusion of the Seoul performances, MONSTA X is set to continue their “CONNECT X” tour with shows scheduled for Yokohama, Japan, on October 27 and 28.
By seamlessly blending nostalgia with a dynamic new era, MONSTA X’s concert not only celebrated their past but also ignited the excitement for what’s to come, reminding everyone why they have remained an integral part of the K-pop landscape for a decade.
